🩺 Why This Recipe Works for Your Conditions
💚 IBD-Friendly
Sweet potatoes are one of the most IBD-friendly foods — easy to digest, anti-inflammatory, and reliably well-tolerated even during mild flares.
🦠 Gut Health
Soluble fiber in sweet potatoes feeds beneficial gut bacteria (unlike insoluble fiber, which can irritate an inflamed gut).
🩸 Diabetes-Friendly
Despite the sweetness, sweet potatoes have a moderate glycemic index — lower than white potatoes. Watch portion size.
